Kettlebell safety points from Enter the Kettlebell!

Based on Pavel Tsatsouline's DVD

1- Check with a doctor first, orthopedic and a cardiologist before embarking with a kettlebell workout since it can be very taxing on your body.

2- Always be aware of your surroundings , train in a flat surface where it's ok to drop the kettlebell.

3- Wear authorized shoes or go barefoot ( NO FANCY SNEAKERS OR CUSHY SHOES).

4-  Dont fight the flow of the Kettlebell's movement.

5- When you're done with the Kettlebell set it down as if you were going to do another repetition , dont just drop it since you could get injured.

6- Keep moving when your heart rate is high

7- Build up your training load gradually

8- There's no substitute for good judgement!
